What to do when your house or business floods?

The source of the flooding is usually a problem to do with plumbing, call Absolute Plumbing and Water Damage Restoration immediately!

Try to determine where the water is coming from to see if there's something you can do immediately to help minimize the damage.

If the water is coming in through the ceiling or walls it's more than likely a broken pipe and you need to TURN THE WATER OFF to the WHOLE HOME. If you're on city water the main shutoff valve is typically in the front of the house by the water meter, in the lowest level of the house. Also, open the faucets in the house to drain the pipes of excess water.

Call us immediately. Then, if possible, get your belongings out of the water to avoid further damage. The exception of course is, if its sewage or deep water, wait for our technician to arrive.
